Is it really 100% local? Do my files get uploaded?
No. Nothing is ever uploaded. All processing happens inside your own browser using JavaScript. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and watch โ after the page finishes loading, zero requests are made while you work. You can even disconnect from the internet entirely and the tools keep functioning.
Why does this matter for sensitive documents?
Most online PDF tools require uploading your file to their servers, which means contracts, financial statements, medical records and IDs pass through someone else's computer. With local browser processing, sensitive documents never leave your machine.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No artificial limits. Because the work happens on your own hardware rather than a shared server, the only real constraint is your device's memory. Large files work fine on modern computers.
